Conor O'Neil is an associate with the Construction Group in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He represents owners, surety bonding companies, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers with respect to claims arising out of construction projects, construction contracts, surety bonds, construction liens and other disputes. He also has experience drafting construction contracts on behalf of owners, general contractors and architects.
Prior to graduating from law school, Conor received an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of New Brunswick. As an engineer, Conor worked for a national general contractor, as well as a major infrastructure constructor in Ontario. He was also involved with a number of industrial and commercial projects including the remediation of a major pipeline to the east coast's largest oil refinery, and the construction of Canada's first liquefied natural gas terminal.
