Executive Summary

Gregory is a senior associate in our Toronto office and a member of the firm's Competition/Antitrust and Foreign Investment Review Practice.

Gregory advises clients on every aspect of Canadian competition laws, including merger clearance (from the Competition Bureau and Transport Canada), class actions and cartel defence, regulated marketing, pricing, and distribution practices and related compliance matters. He also regularly advises on the application of foreign investment review processes, including in relation to national security issues, as well as investments in Canadian cultural business sectors (including film, television, and music industries).

As a member of the firm's International Group, Gregory frequently provides advice to clients on cross-border investigations, litigation, and merger reviews, and publishes frequently on these topics.

He also provides counsel on corporate internal investigations and competition law related e-discovery processes, including court orders issued in connection with investigations and litigation, as well as Supplementary Information Requests (the Canadian analogue to "Second Requests") in merger reviews.

He has participated in litigation and regulatory proceedings before Ontario' Superior Court of Justice and Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, Competition Tribunal, and the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).
