Executive Summary

Dalton McGuinty Jr. is a partner in the Ottawa office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP.  Dalton practises civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury claims from both a defence and plaintiff perspective, as well as product liability. His areas of focus cover insurance and tort liability, and commercial litigation. Dalton has made appearances as counsel in the Small Claims Court, Superior Court and in matters before Financial Services Commission of Ontario. He is fluently bilingual in English and French.

Representative Work

  • Acts regularly for a number of insurers in all aspects of insurance litigation, risk and bodily injury claims, property damage claims, professional liability claims, subrogated claims and accident benefits disputes.
  • Serves as counsel to a number of manufacturers in matters relating to product liability.
