Executive Summary

​Danielle Lewchuk is an associate in our Tax Group in our Vancouver office. Danielle practices in the area of corporate taxation, with a focus on resource taxation, international taxation, private equity transactions, and public company transactions. Danielle has been involved in numerous transactions, including:

  • acquisitions, reorganizations and refinancing involving Canadian companies and their foreign subsidiaries;
  • structures for non-resident corporations carrying on business in Canada; and
  • structures for Canadian corporations carrying on business internationally.

Danielle has completed the Chartered Professional Accountants' In-Depth Tax Course, Parts I, II and III.

  • Tax counsel to Gold Standard Ventures Corp. in the acquisition of Battle Mountain Gold Inc. for $30 million, April 2017.
  • Tax counsel to Lumina Gold Corp. (formerly Odin Mining and Exploration Ltd.) in the acquisition of Ecuador Gold and Copper Corp. for $60 million, November 2016
  • Tax counsel to Pan American Silver Corp. in the creation of and spin-out of Maverix Metals Inc., July 2016.
  • Tax counsel to Panoro Minerals Ltd. in its US$140 million Precious Metals Streaming Agreement with Silver Wheaton, March 2016.
  • Tax counsel to Almaden Minerals Ltd. in the creation and spin-out of Almadex Minerals Ltd., August 2015.
