Adrian Howard is a lawyer and a registered trademark agent in BLG's Ottawa office. Adrian's practice focuses on contentious litigation involving intellectual property, especially patent litigation and applications under the PM (NOC) Regulations. Adrian also acts and advises on copyright and trademark law, and he has experience in conducting judicial reviews of administrative decisions made by the government. He also advises clients with respect to data protection, listing patents on the patent register and reporting to the Patented Medicines Prices Review Board.
Adrian has appeared before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, and the Ontario Superior Court. He is a regular contributor to BLG's IP Weekly Review, a service that informs clients and others of recent developments in Canadian intellectual property law and jurisprudence.
