Lisa is a partner in the banking and financial services group, practicing insolvency and restructuring law, as well as banking and financial services related litigation.
Lisa represents financial institutions, receivers, monitors, and trustees, debtors and creditors in a broad range of matters related to restructuring, corporate reorganizations, fraudulent preference actions, bankruptcy, receiverships, foreclosures and realizations, including proceedings under the
Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the
Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
Lisa also has experience in civil litigation, including commercial disputes, contractual issues, shareholder disputes and securities regulatory matters. She regularly acts in litigation matters related to banking, financial services and debt enforcement.
Lisa has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, the British Columbia Securities Commission and the Provincial Court of Alberta.
