  • Advised Texas-based HollyFrontier Corporation in connection with its acquisition of Suncor Energy's Petro-Canada Lubricants business for CAD $1.125 billion.
  • Advised Caesars Interactive Entertainment in connection with its US $4.4 billion sale of its Playtika social and mobile games business to Alpha Frontier Limited.
  • Advised IMS Health in connection with its acquisition of Privacy Analytics Incorporated, a leader in technology solutions for de-identifying and anonymizing healthcare information.
  • Advised Symrise AG, a publicly-listed flavour and fragrance company based in Germany and Diana Group of France in connection with their acquisition of Nutra Canada Inc., a supplier of plant extracts in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and natural health product industries.
  • Advised Fonds de Solidarité FTQ, Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins and Fondaction CSN in connection with their joint acquisition of door and window manufacturer Atis Group Inc. from Ohio-based private equity fund Cyprium Partners.
  • Advised Doris Inc. and its shareholders in connection with the sale of Doris' Canadian, US and Hong Kong business to Gildan Activewear Inc.
  • Advised prominent Silicon Valley-based company in connection with its acquisition of a Canadian IT security firm.
  • Advised Revision Military Inc. in connection with its acquisition of Ottawa-based Panacis Inc., a developer of lithium ion rechargeable energy storage systems.
  • Advised Genus plc, a publicly-listed animal genetics company based in the UK, in connection with its acquisition of Québec-based Génétiporc, a transaction involving the purchase of the vendor's Canadian porcine genetics business in addition to shares of several US and Mexican subsidiaries.
  • Advised Avalon Actuarial Inc. respecting its sale of its Quebec and Ontario business to Willis Canada Inc.
  • Advised Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) regarding a joint venture with Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Limited Partnership to acquire a large portfolio of real estate around Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport.
  • Advised Zafiro Marine UK Ltd. in connection with its acquisition of Davie Yard Canada Inc.
  • Advised major sporting goods manufacturer throughout a dispute with an exclusive Asian distributor, resulting in a significant arbitral victory before the International Chamber of Commerce.
  • Advised Eaton Vance Corp. of Boston respecting its acquisition of a 49% interest in investment management firm Hexavest Inc.
  • Advised Bell Canada in connection with its acquisition of Bell Aliant Regional Communications LP's xwave business.
  • Advised X3 Productions Inc. in connection with the global rollout of X3's Indiana Jones and the Adventure of Archeology Exhibition produced in association with Lucasfilm Ltd. and the National Geographic Society.
  • Advised Elekta AB of Sweden in its acquisition of Resonant Medical Inc.
  • Advised the holders of senior secured notes in connection with AbitibiBowater Inc.'s $615 million sale of its McCormick hydroelectric facility.
  • Advised the Inukshuk Wireless Partnership, a joint venture between Bell and Rogers, with respect to the use of Inukshuk wireless spectrum by Alberta's Corridor Communications Inc.
  • Advised a subsidiary of DryShips Inc. of Greece in its acquisition of the MV Sorrento.
  • Advised Novell, Inc. in its acquisition of data center management company PlateSpin Ltd.
  • Advised Hammond Power Solutions Inc. in its acquisition of the transformers business of the Delta Group of companies.
  • Advised the shareholders of the Cameo Group in their sale of companies in Québec, California and Chile to LabelCorp Holdings, Inc.
  • Advised the shareholders of online brokerage TradeFreedom Securities Inc. in their sale of the company to The Bank of Nova Scotia.
  • Advised the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador in connection with its purchase of rights in an undersea fibre-optic network between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.
  • Advised the shareholders of St. Lawrence Chemical Inc. in their sale of the company to Brenntag Canada Inc.
  • Advised Global Automated Teller Machines Inc. in the sale of its assets to a subsidiary of The Stanley Works.
  • Advised EMS Technologies in the sale of its Satellite Networks Division to Advantech Advanced Microwave Technologies.
  • Advised Miranda Technologies Inc. in connection with its reorganization and successful public offering on the TSX.
  • Advised Bell Canada in its acquisition of certain cable and fibre-optic assets in Québec and Ontario from VDN Cable Inc.
