Pierre Gemson is a senior associate in our Toronto office and is a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation
group. Pierre represents corporate clients in complex litigation matters, with particular experience
in competition law matters, including the defense of consumer class actions. He has also advised on
diverse competition law matters and represented sellers and acquirers in antitrust merger clearance.
Prior to joining BLG, Pierre practiced for five years at a leading, full-service firm in New York,
where he represented and advised U.S. and international corporations in a variety of industries including
cellular telecommunications, commercial aviation, banking, vision care, and casino gaming.
In 2009-2010, Pierre served as law clerk to Justice Marie Deschamps at the Supreme Court of Canada.
He is fluent in English and French.
