Anett Fabian is a senior paralegal in the Intellectual Property Department of our Vancouver office, and has been working in the area of Intellectual Property since 2000. Anett has a strong knowledge of the International Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), as well as the US and European Patent Office and other foreign laws’ regulations and procedures for filing and prosecuting patent applications. She is also involved in Canadian Patent prosecution. She assists the Firm’s patent agents and clients with all aspects of patent prosecution, including filing patent applications in various jurisdictions, preparing and filing formal documents with Patent Offices, recording transfers and changes in ownership against patent portfolios, and liaising with foreign associates and clients.
Prior to joining the Firm, Anett worked as an in-house patent/trademark paralegal and co-ordinator at an international engineering company in Switzerland, where she gained experience and knowledge in the area of patent prosecution. Anett is fluent in Hungarian, German and English.
