Executive Summary

Robert Eeuwes is an associate in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Robert is a member of the Energy group. He practices corporate/commercial and regulatory law with a focus on energy law and matters relating to the Ontario electricity sector.

Robert was both a summer student and an articling student at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP before joining the Firm as an associate in 2013.

Representative Work

  • Advises developers, investors and lenders concerning corporate, commercial and regulatory aspects of power project development for a variety of technologies including natural gas, wind, solar, hydro-electric, biomass, cogeneration, combined heat and power.
  • Advises Local Distribution Companies in the Ontario electricity sector on mergers, acquisitions and sales. 
  • Advises on a wide range of corporate transactions, including share and asset sales, reorganizations, mergers and amalgamations.
