  • He has been involved in real estate projects as varied as the construction and design of industrial buildings, including a polytrimethylene terephthalate plant, an ethanol production plant, a cogeneration plant, new wind turbines for the production of electricity, office buildings, shopping centres, residential buildings, hotels, health facilities and municipal infrastructures.
  • Yves has also acted for many building owners and for portfolios of industrial, office or commercial buildings, in negotiating sale and purchase contracts.
  • He has served as a legal advisor to a major construction entity in Québec.
  • He has advised a large number of corporations and non-profit foundations working in the healthcare sector.
  • Yves advises clients on a broad range of corporate, real estate, construction and commercial law matters, including acquisitions and divestiture, municipal taxation and real estate assessment in connection with institutional and commercial properties, as well as contractual provisions and risk management.
  • Yves also advises on matters of licensing, regulatory compliance, the drafting of contractual clauses, risk management, the planning and structuring of due diligence activities, financing, acquisition, sale and the ownership of assets with difficult environmental characteristics, assets and businesses, and defending environment-related allegations, particularly in class actions.
