Executive Summary

Simon Daigle is a senior associate in our Montréal office. His practice focuses mainly on civil and commercial litigation, as well as on construction law and professional liability of engineers and architects.

Simon advises the various players of the construction industry on matters related to legal hypothecs, surety and bonds, calls for tenders and bids, and other aspects of construction claims.

He also represents manufacturers in cases involving, among other things, motor vehicles and household appliances.

Simon pleads regularly before the various courts in Québec.

Representative Work

  • Represents and advises property owners, promoters, contractors, subcontractors, materials suppliers, bonding companies, and insurers on matters involving all facets of the construction industry.
  • Represents manufacturers and defends product liability claims.
  • Acts for bonding companies in claims related to performance and labour material bonds.
  • Participates in preparing cases for litigation and pleads before all courts in the Province of Québec.
  • Has particular expertise relating to private international law issues.
