Executive Summary

Sarah is a partner in our Corporate Commercial Group in our Vancouver office. Her practice focuses on public-private partnerships, project development, project finance, aboriginal law, lending and general corporate commercial law.

Sarah is known for her ability to skillfully handle difficult legal and commercial issues, negotiate complex financings, and find creative solutions that manage business risk. She has extensive experience with leading major public-private partnership and project finance transactions, including representing proponents and lenders with respect of all phases of public infrastructure and transportation projects. Sarah also advises lenders and resource companies on securing financing or refinancing for projects and facilities in the natural resources sector, and assists clients on a broad range of commercial, regulatory and financing matters.

Representative Work

  • Advises on major projects and project finance transactions.
  • Acts as lead counsel for proponents and lenders regarding all phases of social infrastructure (hospitals, schools, social housing and more) and transportation projects.
  • Advises resource developers, owners and proponents with respect to project development issues, including Aboriginal engagement and consultation.
  • Advises resource developers and lenders regarding commercial, regulatory and financing matters.
  • Advises lenders and borrowers regarding secured and unsecured credit facilities and project finance issues.
  • Advises financial institutions and other businesses on commercial issues.
