Toronto (October 21, 2013)Andrew Harrison, national leader of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP’s (BLG) Pension and Benefits Group, has been elected as the Chair of the Board for The Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM).

Recognized as a leading lawyer in Canada, Andrew has a broad financial services and commercial practice, with a focus on pension and benefits law, investments and funding. Andrew has advised many different participants in pension and benefit arrangements, including plan administrators, employers, boards of directors, trustees, insurance companies, investment managers and plan beneficiaries.

He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2014 edition (and since 2009) of The Best Lawyers in Canada® (Employee Benefits Law) and is recognized in the 2013 edition of Chambers Global - The World's Leading Lawyers for Business (Pensions & Benefits). Called to the Ontario Bar in 1989, Andrew received his LLB from Queen’s University, in addition to an LLB and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Natal, South Africa.
