Toronto (April 1, 2010) Mark Wheeler has joined Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG), Canada's largest full-service law firm, as a partner in the firm's Toronto office and a member of the Securities & Capital Markets and Mining practices. Mark focuses primarily on mineral exploration and development companies, corporate and securities work for non-mining issuers and registered dealers primarily in mining-related offerings.

Mark was called to the Bar in the Province of Ontario in 1983 and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1981 from the University of Toronto . He has worked for a broad range of junior securities market participants, including PhosCan Chemical Corp., Energy Fuels Inc., New Dawn Mining Corp. and Fontera Copper Corporation.
