Lydian International Limited completes C$11.5 million public offering of shares

On April 14, 2010, Lydian International Limited. (Lydian) completed a public offering of 13,700,000 ordinary shares for $0.73 per ordinary share. Along with the exercise of the over-allotment option of 2,055,000 ordinary shares which also closed on April 14, 2010, Lydian raised a total of $11,501,150. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to fund part of the first installment payment owing to Newmont Mining Corporation for the acquisition of its interest in the Amulsar gold project in Armenia, for drilling, metallurgical studies and pre-feasibility studies at the Amulsar project; for limited regional exploration activities in the Caucasus region and for general working capital purposes.

The syndicate of underwriters was represented by BLG with a team that consisted of Paul Mingay, Philippe Tardif, Shaunik Katyal and Andrew Bunston (corporate/securities) and Larissa Tkachenko (tax).
