​The BLG Aboriginal Law Group acts across Canada for all levels of government. We have significant expertise advising governments in relation to the broad range of Aboriginal issues and in relation to all major industries in Canada. We are a national team with lawyers from various disciplines focused on providing services for all facets of Aboriginal law.

Our work for governments and government agencies includes representing the Crown in major Aboriginal rights and title litigation, the provision of legal advice on consultation and accommodation issues assistance in the drafting of legislation, regulations, and policies that allow governments to achieve important objectives while remaining respectful of the constitutional rights of Aboriginal peoples. We also assist governments with environmental assessment processes for proposed developments that would have an impact on Aboriginal rights or lands.
