Michael co-founded BLG's psychedelics and cannabis focus group and is a member of its steering committee. Michael is also a member of BLG's M&A steering committee and its Medtech steering committee.
Michael is a board member, committee chair and co-founder of a variety of successful businesses in the life sciences industry. Michael is motivated to support his community and serves as a board member of the CUPS Calgary Society, based in Calgary, Alberta.
Michael received his law degree from the University of Alberta. Prior to attending law school, Michael obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance) with distinction from the Haskayne School of Business. He has worked in BLG's securities and capital markets group for 15 years.
