The new Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 (SFOA) was scheduled to come into force on July 1, 2018; however, the new provincial government has postponed the implementation of the SFOA indefinitely. Until the SFOA is proclaimed into force, the existing Smoke-Free Ontario Act and Electronic Cigarettes Act, 2015 will continue to apply. We will publish an update as soon as we have more information.
