Guy Pratte Honoured for his Contribution to the Cause of Justice
Montréal (September 7, 2018)— As a leading law firm, BLG strongly believes in access to justice for all Canadians. We are proud of our partner,Guy Pratte, Ad.E., who has been awarded the Medal of The Bar of Montreal for his remarkable contribution to the cause of justice. The Medal is conferred by the Council after consultation with the Conference of former Bâtonniers.
Guy Pratte has always been a devoted advocate for better access to justice for all. He is the founder and former President of Pro Bono Québec and he has provided pro bono legal services in landmark cases. He also initiated BLG's national pro bono program and he currently chairs Pro Bono Ontario.
The Medal of The Bar of Montreal was awarded to Guy during the ceremony of the Journée du Barreau held on September 6, 2018.
